The Hazel McCallion (Hurontario) Light Rail Transit (LRT) will provide 18 km of rapid transit with 19 stops on a dedicated right-of-way and will link to GO Stations at Port Credit and Cooksville, the Mississauga Transitway, Square One GO Bus Terminal, Brampton Gateway Terminal, and key MiWay and Brampton Transit routes.

Engineering, Procurement, and Construction
Alltrade’s scope of work is the complete engineer procure construct (EPC) design, supply, and installation of the 750 VDC Overhead Catenary System (OCS) including all poles, contact and messenger conductors, disconnect switches, cantilevers, rigid rail, drop posts, arrestors, headspans, spring tensioners, and down guys for the mainline double track (18 km) and the operations, maintenance and storage facility (7 km).
The Hazel McCallion (Hurontario) LRT is made with clean, electrically powered light rail vehicles, producing near zero emissions. The transit line crosses over various road traffic intersections, both controlled by traffic lights and not controlled by traffic lights.
