The South Falls Generation Station, located on the Muskoka River near Bracebridge, Ontario, has been in operation since 1907, providing Ontario with clean hydro-electric power for well over a century. Alltrade completed the removal of a 638 kW hydro turbine originally installed in 1916, and replaced it with a new, more efficient 1.5 MW turbine.

Alltrade completed the removal of the existing power feed and new installation of 1000 MCM-15 kV feeders, utilizing a variety of trades, including electrical, civil, millwrighting and ironwork. The project also included the removal and replacement of the floor that housed the turbine. Alltrade successfully executed the installation of the cable tray and feeders despite the steep and rough terrain and tight access to the site with large equipment.
