The Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) project brought an additional 11 km and 18 stops of public transit, and renewed aging infrastructure to the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. The Finch West LRT also reduced traffic congestion, greenhouse gasses, and fuel consumption and improved quality of life for commuters by reducing daily travel time. The line features accessible platforms, improved streetscapes, and cycling infrastructure.

Saddlebrook Solar

Alltrade constructed the Saddlebrook Solar Project in a joint venture partnership with SkyFire Energy Inc. This fixed tilt solar system will generate enough electricity to power roughly 20,000 homes and sits on nearly 330 acres of repurposed industrial zoned land.

Scotford Solar

The 81 MWDC Scotford solar project will power a top global oil producer’s refinery complex to support the company in achieving its goal of net zero emissions by 2050. Located in Alberta’s industrial heartland, the project is the first large-scale solar installation in the region.

Brooks II Solar

Brooks Solar II builds on the success of Brooks Solar, Western Canada’s first utility-scale solar project. The 27.5 MWAC/32.8 MWDC project spans 160 acres of land and has 2 - 25kV Fortis interconnections.

Elmira Battery Energy Storage

Alltrade was the constructor for NextEra Energy’s Elmira 8MWH Battery Energy Storage System. Alltrade was also selected as the EPC for the facility augmentation requirements in 2022.

Henvey Inlet Wind Substations

Alltrade completed the electrical and civil installation for the two 230kV substations at the Henvey Inlet Wind project. Henvey Inlet is the largest wind project in Ontario, and the third largest in Canada at 300 MW, powering 100,000 Ontario homes.

South Falls Generating Station

This project involved the replacement of a 100-year-old turbine with a new, efficient one that is more than double the generating capacity of the original.
